Client: Atlantic Convenience Stores Association (ACSA)
Advocacy, Public and Government Relations
Dunne manages all the PR and advocacy work for the 2000 + member ACSA in all four Provinces of Atlantic Canada. Dunne has been on retainer since the ACSA began operation in 2008 and the company's responsibilities continue to grow. In 2010 Dunne assisted members in Newfoundland and Labrador to prepare and present a business case for the Provincial Government to increase retail margins for the sale of beer. The project was successful. In 2011, Dunne assisted gasoline retailers in New Brunswick in preparing and presenting a business case for an increase in the retail margin to the New Brunswick gas regulator. This project was also successful with an increase of .90 cents per litre (CPL) that will add an annual incremental 9 million dollars in revenue for gas retailers. Dunne also assists in co-ordinating meetings and correspondence with all Government officials who have regulatory responsibility for products that are retailed by the industry.
